VHIT S.p.A (Vacuum & Hydraulic Products Italy) is looking for a Commodity BuyerSupport the Purchasing Project Manager & Supplier Quality ManagerManage suppliers, negotiate contracts, and handle change management
Job seniority: mid-to-senior level
Responsibilities
• Manage the commodity of e-parts• Support the Purchasing Project Manager & Supplier Quality Manager during new component development• Define the BID list• Manage RFQ (Request for Quotation)• Select suppliers according to the Total Cost Ownership analysis• Act as the key point of contact for commercial and strategic communication with suppliers• Handle reporting to management in dedicated committees• Responsible for suppliers strategy, scouting, negotiation, business bundling, award, orders, contracts, and supplier database management• Manage Engineering Change Requests and introduce Design-to-Cost ideas for new or series projects
Requirements
• Education: Electronic Engineering• Experience: 3 years in the automotive industry or similar experience in large organizations and complex project environments• Technical knowledge: Basic knowledge of powertrain components, basic understanding of main automotive industry production processes, Microsoft Office proficiency• Personality: Goal-oriented, self-driven with entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication and teamwork skills, proactivity• Language skills: Fluent English
