Missions
As a Commercial Controller, your role will be to support in analyzing and tracking the commercial performance of S&S European entities, highlighting trends and giving valuable insights on potential opportunities and risks to the management committee.
Collaborate with local financial and commercial communities ensuring a correct data management and flow, proposing automation tools.
The Commercial Controller will also be part of the Revenue Management team, he/she will make analysis to support the pricing strategy and help in the development of our pricing projects.
Your main responsibilities will be:
Weekly analysis of pricing for S&S in Europe (Data analysis, slides, price deviations)
Track and follow up the profitability of European S&S by continuously analyzing the performance (pricing, margin) and find new levers for growth
Follow-up of the commercial S&S forecast monthly and during the budget cycle
Support during monthly closure activities
Competition analysis: main KPI's , trend and Gap analysis
Develop automatized tool for analysis and reporting
Collaborate with local entities to structure and manage a correct data flows that is coherent with corporate definitions
Help local entities in profitability analysis
Various Ad Hoc analysis regarding market, Nickel, product profitability…etc
Requisiti del candidato:
Solid technical background (BAC + 5) Business school or Engineering school
Very good analytical skills
Ability and willingness to work with big databases
Ability to learn how to use several (complementary) tools: internal reporting, Power BI, excel etc...
Good knowledge of Excel / VBA and ability to learn. Knowledge of Power BI would be a plus
Good level of English (min. B2) any other language is an advantage
Team player
Talent to understand complex problems and specific interest for commercial issues
Curious, ability to learn technical information about the customers, the products, the industrial processes
Availability to travel internationally (10-20% of time)
