Job Description


Reporting to the Head of VCS Southern Europe, the Account Executive VCS is responsible for developing and delivering sales the Commercial Solutions (B2B payments) to Financial Institutions. Meeting scorecard targets – sales and revenues mix, NPS, overall performance - driving effective accounts management.

The Account Executive VCS needs to drive strategy execution, build high quality relationships with key external/internal stakeholders and collaborate to build support of cross functional teams. She/he must be passionate about sales and the payment industry.   Commercial acumen and an excellent understanding of the B2B Payments market landscape will be critical to this appointment.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about sales
  • Deep sales and client relationship management experience, including setting strategic direction and leadership experience in highly successful businesses.
  • Extensive experience in either banking/financial services sector or Technology.
  • Deep knowledge of payment industry products on Commercial (B2B) products and solutions.
  • Excellent leadership skills within a complex matrix organisation.
  • Cultural sensitivity and global mindset.
  • Deep market knowledge and insight.
  • Excellent communication, fluency in Italian and English are essential
  • Stature, gravitas, reputation and professional attitude.
  • Courageous and accountable.
