Position
The Collection Merchandising Specialist for Leather Goods is responsible for overseeing the range of leather products within our collections. This role involves market analysis, trend spotting, product selection, and strategic placement to maximize sales performance and brand consistency.
* Analysis and processing of data for specific marketing purposes by preparing appropriate reports (sell-in, sell-out, composition of offers and purchases, benchmarking on the positioning of competitors' products, etc.);
* Provide input to all departments (e.g., Retail Merchandising, Product Development, etc.) on 360 alignments of comprehensive strategies to maximize the impact and sales of the Leather Goods collection. Propose timely actions to ensure the optimal success of the category throughout the season.
* Support on Collection development processes as Collection brief, competitive benchmark studies, market trends analysis and focused deep dives on strategic opportunities;
* Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of products.
* Support budget compilation and cost sharing with Product Managers;
* Support pricing positioning considering financial targets and competitors;
* Support the development of special productions, sponsorships and events/communication, collaborating with the functions involved.
Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Fashion Merchandising or related field preferred
* Proven experience in merchandising or buying within the fashion industry, particularly with luxury Leather Goods
* Excellent analytical skills paired with a creative mindset
* Ability to work collaboratively across departments
* Outstanding communication skills both verbal & written
* Adeptness at using merchandising software as well as MS Office Suite
