Cathodic Protection Engineer

As Cathodic Protection Engineer, you will join our Material Engineering Department, in the business line Energy Carriers, conducting the following activities for bid and executive Projects:

Activities:  

·      Selection of CP system & various design parameters for CP based on electrolyte (soil/water) characteristics.

·      Design and sizing of a cathodic protecting system.

·      Technical approval and Purchase of CP Material

·      CP Vendor Follow-Up

·      Supervision during construction activities and realization of CP system commissioning

Qualification: Master’s or Bachelor (depending on level of experience) degree in Material, Chemical or Electrical Engineering

Knowledge of English language: Level CEFR - B1 Threshold

Labour relationship: permanent contract

Years of experience: At least three (3) years of professional experience

IT Skills: Microsoft Office skills and good knowledge of AUTOCAD.

Soft Skills: Team working, Work in multicultural ambient, availability to work for long periods out of Italy Basic knowledge of corrosion, electrochemistry, and physical chemistry and/or electrical engineering and Knowledge of the main metallic materials.

Nice to have: Saipem appreciate Cathodic Protection certification by certified organization i.e. AMPP and require availability for international mobility.

Location: Milan.

Contract type: permanent, salary package commensurate with the level of experience
