Nature and aim of the position

The Campaign Analyst is responsible for the delivery of personalised communications via our Real-Time Decisioning Engine and Marketing Automation tool. As a super-user of these platforms, they will provide guidance and recommendations on how these platforms can be used to support our traveller-facing products. They will be responsible for the building and maintenance of real-time campaigns and the creation of campaign flows/selections/counts for Marketing and Acquisition campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of campaign building, a problem-solving mindset, and a keen eye for detail.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to understand campaign objectives, target audience, and key messaging.
  • Design and build end-to-end campaigns using our Marketing Automation Tool SAS CI Studio, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer journey (While SAS CI skills are advantageous, any marketing automation tool experience will be considered. Training for SAS CI will be provided if needed).
  • Implement segmentation and targeting strategies to personalize campaigns based on audience characteristics.
  • Maintain and update the SAS RTDM/MA logic for both our transactional and marketing products.
  • Extend the SAS solution to deliver initiatives e.g., Drive-to-Store, geo-targeted push notifications via Traveller App
  • Lead the technical testing of new campaign flows before implementation, performing data preparation activities and investigating/troubleshooting the related results.
  • Continuously optimize automation processes for efficiency and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to campaign execution, tracking, or deliverability.

Reporting and collaboration

  • The holder of the position reports solid-line to Product Manager (Data & Insights)
  • The holder of the position works with/supports Product Managers within the CES and Technology teams
  • Proven experience in campaign building and execution using marketing automation tools, SAS CI Studio skilld advantageous but not strictly required
  • Strong Knowledge of building real time campaigns
  • Good understanding and proven experience of using a relational database with large data volume
  • Excellent English language skills both oral and written.
  • 2-3 years of strong SQL Experience
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Business Knowledge/Educational Background

  • Experience as a Campaign Analyst/Business Analyst required.
  • Distinctive analytical thinking and ability to analyse and design complex workflows and processes.
  • Independently drive analysis using Excel, Splunk, SAS or other analytical tools
  • SQL Skills required to investigate database
  • Very well-structured with great attention to details
  • Organizational skills and the ability to self-prioritize workload.
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers and subject matter experts.
  • Good client-facing skills, inquisitive and engaging personality

Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in a relevant campaign building and analytical role querying data and building campaigns
  • Previous experience working with cross functional teams and an understanding of the data intricacies this requires.
