IndirizzoIf you share our determination to drive the transition to a low-carbon future, then this could be the job for you. We are currently seeking a Senior Buyer, reporting directly to Purchasing Section Head to join our Sourcing & Procurement team based in Rome, Italy.
About the Job
Within the Package Purchasing Section you will be responsible for:
- purchasing of Package materials (i.e. complex engineered equipment) needed by our Projects and to place the related Purchase Orders within the given budget and schedule;
- taking care of preparing the inquiries to be sent out on the market;
- prepare bidders lists, shortlist bidders, negotiate the commercial conditions and prices, issue Commercial Bid Tabulations, place purchase order (PO) and manage the change orders during execution phase;
- dealing with different departments (including engineering, projects, cost control, planning, inspection and transportation) and you will be the primary interface of our Suppliers;
- liaising continuously with Engineering department and Project team to ensure the most effective purchasing process and identify cost saving opportunities;
Availability to travel to other Technip Energies offices or to Suppliers’ premises and to be temporarily relocated in our plants construction sites is required.
In line with your background, you may be required to coordinate a team of Package Buyers.

About You
We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
- Master Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering)
- At least 2 years of previous experience in purchasing, preferably in an international environment or in the energy business
- Full adherence to Ethic and Compliance principles
- Capability to work in team and to properly manage relations with internal and external stakeholders in a multicultural environment
Languages: Fluent in English. Knowledge of other language it is a plus (preferably French)
