Marketing is the function responsible for understanding customer needs, industry and consumer trends across packaging, processing and services. We help our markets create business opportunities by ensuring delivery of value-added products, services and solutions.

Overview of the position:
Within Marketing, the Business Insights & Analytics Team is responsible for securing relevant information and insights across the value chain, transforming them into recommendations to key stakeholders and drive best practice for Tetra Pak. 
We are looking for a Business Insights Leader who will identify information needs among our internal stakeholders and who will execute research and create integrated insights across the entire value chain and on important areas such as sustainability, so that relevant market needs and opportunities are identified for development and marketing activities. ű

This is a permanent position based in Modena in which no frequent travels are requested.

What you will do

  • Working with internal stakeholders to identify critical consumer and Business Insights gaps, and gathering and analyzing key business trends to support stakeholders
  • Creating in depth actionable analysis for identified focus areas/ opportunities through desk research or primary research
  • Consolidating existing reports and information related to consumers, retailers, food manufacturers and any other relevant data needed for a market analysis
  • Integrating research reports as well as secondary information to provide holistic view and developments on categories to inspire new business strategies and opportunities.
  • Planning, designing and commissioning a variety of international market research projects, including briefing and evaluating proposals from consultants.
  • Day-to-day management of research projects and supplier relationships.
  • Coordinating the logistics of consumer tests, in particular working with package prototyping to make sure that relevant tests material is produced for package tests.
  • Presenting research/analysis findings to internal and external stakeholders, as well as cooperating in translating market findings into strategic or tactical actions; ensuring that final outcomes are properly shared, archived and published on internal online platform
  • Consolidating and maintaining existing consumer research databases, ensuring that consumer research reports are archived and published on internal online platform.
  • Supporting key stakeholders (Packaging Solutions, Processing, Services, Sustainability teams, as well as Market Companies in the EMEA region) in terms of market research solutions, methodological aspects and global insights.

We believe you have

Language and Education:

  • You have a University degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
  • You are highly skilled in English, both written and spoken. 

Professional Skills and Experience:

  • You have 4/6 years of experience in marketing, business analysis and/or consumer/B2B research within FMCG (agency or company). Well-rounded knowledge and expertise in qualitative and quantitative, primary and secondary research. 
  • You have experience in driving market analysis, including consumers, category, retailers, food manufacturers, sustainability insights. Good analytical skills, ability to interpret and translate research findings, consumer and retail panel data into actionable insights.
  • You have strong business acumen and organizational savviness
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Power Bi. 

Personal Qualifications: 

  • You have strong analytical skills, combined with an effective ability in story-telling. You can successfully synthetise information from different sources, create a story from them and build actionable insights.
  • You are comfortable with data analysis and visualization.
  • You have very good communication and presentation skills.
  • You are able to anticipate future needs and identify potential options and constraints and to think through the implications of decisions and actions.
  • You are comfortable in taking challenges up, and you are able to interact in different environments and situations.
  • You can work together with other team members and internal/external stakeholders, exchanging information and supporting colleagues to achieve personal and team goals. 
  • You are able to drive and manage a project from beginning to end.
