The Business Developer Manager is responsible for selling Markem-Imaje’s solutions to Italy’s customers. The role owner is responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle, starting from prospecting and then with new Business Development, from creation to opportunity management. What you will do-Understand the business strategy of the accounts in relation to
their
serialization direction with a heavy emphasis on the UniSecure solution
-Act as the single point within the Target Accounts for positioning and selling Markem-Imaje’s Serialization Product Tracking solution
-Develop an annual business plan that will guide and track your progress/success during the year
-Create and deliver presentations, white papers, communications
-Conduct regular review sessions and arrange roundtable sessions with assigned target accounts
-Become a “trusted advisor” to your Target Accounts and work to influence the direction, focus and strategy in relation to their serialization initiatives
-Work with Markem-Imaje Product Managers and Directors to determine the required resources and/or product mix to capitalize on value creation opportunities
-Maintain close communication within customer and Professional Services (PS) to assure uniform understanding of customer expectations relative to operational solutions, timeline, costs and results. Direct operational issues to the correct PS owner
-Report in agreed intervals to the Sales Director and Senior Management
-Understand the overall product packaging direction in each of the targeted accounts
-Establish forecasts and maintain current customer and prospective account records and provide reports on accounts and sales activity through our CRM system
-Stay updated on company’s product and solutions and industry trends
What you need to have-Experience in consultative selling of solutions combining products and services enterprise software required, especially in the pharmaceutical industry
-Understanding the pharmaceutical packaging marketplace: customer requirements, applications, regulations, packaging plant locations, decision makers and key players
-Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets
-Ability to work an extremely fast-paced environment
-Able to work independently yet collaborate cross-functionally environment
-Superior communicator who is a strong, out-going leader and consensus builder
-Excellent interpersonal, organizational and negotiating skills
-Intermediate level of English
