We are looking for a highly motivated Business Controller, Products and Procurement for KONE Supply Chain Europe based in Espoo or Hyvinkää, Finland or Pero, Italy.
The candidate will join the Supply Chain Europe Finance Team. She/he supports key business leaders in driving and monitoring the business performance by providing financial insight. She/he ensures KONE business activities are conducted in accordance with the KONE Financial Control Model (FCM), and that financial impacts are measured and reported following the KONE accounting standards and instructions. The purpose of the role is also to ensure that business KPIs are logical and add value, actions are defined based on performance, and that benefit realizations are delivered. Business Controller is also accountable for executing the planning process according to global guidelines with the business leaders.
Your Responsibilities and key activities
Business partnering with strong outside-in mindset understanding of the business logic and dependencies between key operational processes, relationships and metrics
Being the key finance professional and trusted advisor of finance matters in the organization and promote and ensure adequate finance understanding in the business organization.
Business partnering with supply chain management, technology, product management, procurement and logistics functions in driving product cost and profitability performance during the entire life-cylce, including product roadmap planning and execution, business case preparation, execution and benefit realization
Managing and analyzing the supply chain financial performance, participate in more general analysis tasks that support the Management, including product cost and profitability, logistics cost, inventory and other Key Performance Indicators
Perform Product Cost and Profitability planning and analysis including material and logistics costs development
Facilitating the planning and forecasting processes
Perform or organize the execution of the business controlling tasks as defined in KONE Financial Control Model
Requirements for the role:
At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in an industrial environment, including product cost and profitability planning, analysis and business partnering with supply chain management, technology, product management, procurement and logistics functions
Excellent analytical and communication skills, coupled with the ability to build trust and collaboration among business leaders/stakeholders
Ability to work and influence in a complex matrix organization with a wide range of stakeholders
Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
SAP ERP (FICO) and BI knowledge is a must
Good organizational, process planning and change management skills
Fluent in English
M. Sc in Finance or business administration
The preferred start would be in early Q2 2024.
