Brokerage Sales Manager
The Sales Manager will lead, mentor, and develop our client’s Inside Sales Team. This individual will be the main visionary architect for the inside sales program. The Inside Sales Team will be primarily focused on the conversion of prospects into new customers for the organization. Additionally, as the team grows and matures, this individual will be charged with the development of Inside Sales Managers to lead smaller groups of Inside Sales Representatives to drive growth within the organization. The Sales Manager will report to the Director of Enterprise Solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor Inside Sales Representatives.
- Develop and teach Sales Training Material to develop sales team.
- Assist in recruiting and onboarding of new Inside Sales Representatives.
- Assist new Inside Sales Representatives with Needs Assessment calls and helping to identify true opportunity.
- Work collaboratively with Enterprise Solutions Team as well as Network Branch Managers to build solutions to add value to prospects supply chain.
- Work to ensure proper account transition occurs between Inside Sales Representatives and the operating Branch with all SOPs clearly outlined to properly support the business.
- Willingness to sell as part of leading from the front as a Sales Leader within the organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Transportation/Logistics.
- Three of more years of related experience.
- Have achieved sales objectives and use creativity and initiative to overcome client objections.
- Must be comfortable making presentations to a variety of people at multiple management levels.
- Must be a fluent communicator in person, telephone, and e-mail.
- Taking role must not violate a non-compete/solicit agreement.
- Fluent in Microsoft Office products.
- Must be coachable.
