An exciting opportunity for the Season 2024 has arisen for a Banqueting Operations Manager role at Hotel Cipriani, a Belmond Hotel to support the Events team and provide excellent and personalized guest experiences, while leading and coordinating the banqueting teams.
This is a season position starting latest mid March 2024.
The ideal candidate is passionate for the hospitality business and willing to provide authentic, luxury experiences in a world-renowned destination to our guests, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community.
The Banqueting Operations Manager reports to the Executive Assistant Manager in charge of F&B, and will:
– Provide an excellent and personalized guest experience according to our service standards
– Lead and coordinate the banqueting team (outsourced);
– Organize and supervise all Banqueting Operations as planned by the Events Office and / or F&B Manager;
– Manage and develop staff in everyday operations according to our standard and procedures;
– Maintain a professional relationship with guests and colleagues;
– Anticipate guests needs and handle guest complaints;
– Inventory and requisitions: assist in monitoring stock levels and ordering replacement deliveries;
– Comply with health and safety regulations.

Requirements
– Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in Italian and English; a third language, in particular French, is preferred;
– Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills;
– Professional knowledge of Italian cuisine and Italian & International wines;
– Minimum 3 years of professional experience within the same role in a luxury environment;
– Passion for hospitality and ambition to grow professionally;
– Flexibility to work on weekends and rotating schedule.
