Now we are looking for a Backend (Java) Developer to join as the tenth team member to work on interesting projects related to web-based systems. You will develop the new version of the Backoffice of our Titan platform. In this role, you would be working closely with our Product Owner, Backend Developers, Frontend Developer and QA Testers at Finnplay.
YOUR JOB IN A NUTSHELL:
- Analyze the technical requirements from internal and external parties
- Participate in the design of the platform architecture
- Design, implement and maintain applications in the platform
- Troubleshoot problems in different environments
- Coach junior engineers in the team
IN ORDER TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, THESE ARE SOME OF MUST-HAVES:
- MS or BS degree in computer science or information technology
- Minimum of 3+ years’ solid experience of Java developing
- Strong experience in developing web-based applications
- Good understanding of OOPs concepts and patterns
- Good experience of Spring, Hibernate and Struts
- Good experience with MySQL
- Familiarity with Docker
- Familiarity with Linux
- Excellent communication skills in English
TO TRULY EXCEL IN THE ROLE, THESE ARE SOME OF THE NICE-TO-HAVES:
- Experience with Kubernetes
- Experience in leading teams
