TMC Italia is looking for Process Engineer based in our customer’s premises to provide support on Automotive applications.

The activity will be carried on in an international context.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Proficiency in the automotive industry, particularly with a focus on major German Original Equipment (OE) manufacturers and their milestones.
  • Understanding of key industrialization metrics such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Cycle Time, Takt Time, Manpower allocation, line saturation/utilization, and capacity evaluation.
  • Technical expertise in equipment specifications, with the ability to draft comprehensive State of Works documents for equipment quotations.
  • Familiarity with various equipment components including screwdrivers, electrical axes, PLCs, traceability systems, pneumatic systems, mechanical components, and foolproof systems.
  • Preparation and validation of documentation throughout the product development phase, including Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Line Layouts, and manpower requirements for production lines.
  • Facilitation and participation in technical discussions with customers during industrial reviews of production lines.
  • Knowledge of assembly processes and Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) processes such as reflow soldering, wave soldering, and selective soldering.
  • Ability to devise industrial planning encompassing supplier tenders, material lead times, equipment assembly, debugging, and installation.
  • Attendance at Change Management meetings, with the capability to quantify the impact (cost, MOD, lead time, etc.) of changes on customer or internal requests.
  • Ensuring availability during Pre-acceptance and final acceptance phases at supplier and internal production plants.
  • Adherence to best practices and incorporation of Lessons Learned.
  • Support for Bill of Materials (BOM) creation and preparation of supporting documents for various departments.
  • Assistance to plants during audits conducted by customers.
  • Provision of updated product documentation for mass production.
  • Definition and communication of production capacity and ramp-up plans.
  • Ensuring compliance with customer requirements for processes and products

| What do we expect from you?

  • Familiarity with quality management system requirements, including standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
  • Understanding of electronics products and their manufacturing processes.
  • Proficiency in various production processes and manufacturing technologies, such as Plasma technology, welding techniques, potting procedures, and Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA).
  • Knowledge of fundamental statistical concepts and their application in production analysis.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, encompassing both mechanical and hardware specifications.
  • Understanding of key documents in quality management, including PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), Control Plans, and Process Flowcharts.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English and Italian.
  • Strong enthusiasm for the Employeneurship model of TMC, demonstrating a serious commitment to its principles and values.
