Key Responsibilities
An Associate Sales Representative is the entry-level position within our Sales Career Path. You are beginning or are in the early stages of developing your sales career and employing the process of selling which involves contacting potential customers, identifying their needs, persuading them that our (COMPANY NAME) products can best satisfy those needs. You will close sales by agreeing the terms and conditions and providing after-sales service and support to include case cover in theatre.
This role will have a specific focus on sales opportunities optimization, aiming i.e. to maximize usage of tender capacity, developing analytics on tender duration and schedule, optimizing rental/service agreements, providing the sales team with analytics and tools to develop customer segmentation end optimization. The role will be field based, as the above optimization can happen on analytical level and with specific actions at per customer level. Product demonstrations and customer events attendance is required as requested from the manager.
* ​Business Planning: Constructs a basic business plan with input from mentor/manager. Daily, weekly and monthly planning decided in partnership with mentor and Manager.
* ​Sales Skills: Develops rapport. Understands the importance of relationships in selling.
* ​Commercial Awareness: Understands that there are multiple stakeholders in the decision making process and asks appropriate questions to identify the stakeholders.
* ​Discretion/Latitude/Impact: Keeps supervisor informed regularly on status of work.
What are we looking for?
* 0-1 years Sales experience with Diploma in related field. Higher Education advantageous.
* Knowledge of Medical Device environment & Medical Device regulations preferred
* ​​Excellent communication skills with proficiency in spoken and written English;
* Stakeholder management skills at all levels
* ​Patience and self-motivation;
* ​Analytical and planning skills;
* ​Flexible approach to work in order to adapt to changes;
* ​Strong teamwork and networking skills;
* ​Commercial and business awareness;
* ​Valid driving licence.​
Territory: Italy
Based location: Any main city of the country, ideally Rome or Milan
Travel percentage: 60%
