The position is located in the Sustainable Enterprises and Economies Programme (SEE)The Associate Programme Officer will support the consolidation and further expansion of the portfolio of training and learning activities on the environmental and social aspects of responsible business conductThe Associate Programme Officer responsibilities include selecting and summarizing information, undertaking analysis, supporting the design of training activities, and delivering training courses

Responsibilities
• Select and summarize information in the areas of Sustainable Enterprises, responsible business conduct, and social and environmental sustainability in business• Undertake analysis of specific components and/or developments in the area of Sustainable Enterprises, responsible business conduct, and social and environmental sustainability in business• Support the design of training activities and prepare training proposals• Assess the potential impact of proposed training activities on Sustainable Enterprises• Contribute to the management of training activities and projects• Support the delivery of training courses• Contribute technically to courses, seminars, and working groups• Support the development of on-line dynamic participative training methodologies and practices• Establish and maintain a roster of consultants and resource persons• Develop networks and cooperative arrangements with institutions and agencies
Requirements
• Advanced university degree in business, social sciences, economics, management of development, or other relevant field• At least three years of professional experience, including two years at the international level• Working experience in a low or middle-income country• Experience in organization, management, and delivery of training• At least two years of experience in responsible business conduct and/or social and environmental sustainability in business• Excellent command of English and fluency in a second language (Arabic, French, or Portuguese)• Knowledge of adult learning pedagogy and facilitation skills
