ASSOCIATE MANAGER - CUSTOMER MARKETING
* Location: Arese - ITA
* Function: Customer Marketing
Overview:
About the role
The Associate Manager, Customer Marketing is a key player to drive category and relative brands growth in Italy. Responsible for achieving Net Sales and Market Shares targets for assigned category. Translates Regional & Country Group Category Strategies into local plans. Partnership with Sales to ensure execution of agreed plans in the local market. Implements Consumer and Trade Promotions including Special Packs.
About the Team/Department
The Associate Manager reports to the Southern Cluster Customer Marketing Director and will lead, mentor and develop a team of direct resources (Intern and Associates).
Responsibilities:
* Oversees local tracking of categories, distribution, promotions performance and input relevant recommendation to achieve the business objectives.
* Input into the Corplan process (Annual Budget).
* Translate the Regional Category Strategy into local plans.
* Manage the Equity Consumer Promotions budget.
* Manage product portfolio levers (assortment, pricing, promo and distribution).
* Manage artwork development/local adaptation.
* Strong input to Region on business opportunities.
* Actively contribute to relevant meetings of the S&OP cycle (Demand, SMR) & Sales meeting.
* Manage Consumer and Trade Promotion plans, including Special Packs/Promotional Packs.
* Manage in collaboration with Regional team both the Media Brief and the Media plan for their assigned categories.
* Develop Special Pack plans aligned with the Regional Promo Catalogue.
* Develop POP and other marketing & sales materials for the Categories/Segments assigned.
Experience you'll bring:
* University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or similar and eventually a Business master's degree.
* Solid commercial background with a minimum of 8 years in Commercial roles (ideally a combination of Customer Marketing / Marketing and Sales), and 2 years with managing teams.
* Sales experience with at least 2 years in a multinational FMCG company.
* Strong interest in an international career development path, fully mobile.

* Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Problem solver, high level of autonomy.
* Experience using market data (e.g., AC Nielsen) desirable.
* Fluent in Italian & English.
