Associate Business Test Analyst

It’s an exciting time to join our Commercial Team here at AXA, with significant investment planned in all UK&I businesses to transform, deliver new digital services to our customers, and streamline and automate our business processes. We've opportunities for two Associate Business Test Analysts to join us to support the delivery of meaningful change to our Commercial Direct business, contributing to our strategic and tactical business plans. 

As part of the Commercial Direct Delivery team, you’ll work with business stakeholders, and experienced team members, to understand business requirements and test plans. You’ll verify changes have been implemented correctly through carrying out testing and ensuring the customer experience is protected throughout. You’ll also support stakeholders with governance and control of change and communication.

You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, either at our office location in Glasgow, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing:

• Work with stakeholders and business analysts to understand and help shape requirements
• Undertake, evidence, and sign off the business verification and regression testing, to ensure all platforms continue to deliver excellent customer journeys and outcomes
• Coordinate the verification of the end deliverable
• Own key operational processes such as defect management and investigate problems to size and prioritise them
• Identify, report, and help to manage any risks and issues which threaten the successful delivery of changes, escalating these where appropriate
• Build and maintain sound commercial business knowledge 
• Establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships 
• Manage key administration, communication, and governance tasks to support the Commercial Direct Change Team in delivery of the 2024 plan

What we’re looking for:

• Understanding of User Acceptance Testing approaches 
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is preferred
• Capable of working with others to deliver on challenging and changing timelines on testing delivery
• Knowledge of insurance systems knowledge is desirable
• Analytical skills with a high attention to detail
• Ability to effectively manage own time with excellent organisational skills
