Job summary
Swatch Group is a global leader in the production and marketing of luxury and consumer watches, known for their durability, emotional appeal, and high quality.The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in guiding and coordinating the staff and activities of the store, while maximizing the commercial potential in line with the company's strategy.The Assistant Store Manager will be the spokesperson for the values and culture of Swatch.

Responsibilities
• Follow the customer throughout their sales experience to provide impeccable pre and post-sales service, identifying opportunities, developing solutions, and setting an active and consistent example for the staff in resolving similar future challenges.• Ensure post-sales technical assistance and proper implementation of warranties.• Achieve or exceed sales targets.• Monitor the quantitative and qualitative Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of the store.• Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure that the store has adequate resources to achieve and surpass performance objectives.• Oversee and ensure ongoing training for the team according to the guidelines established by the Store Manager.• Prepare the agenda for daily activities, including staff scheduling.• Manage cash-related security activities, such as payment procedures, tax-free processing, cash register opening and closing processes using dedicated programs, and bank deposit procedures.• Maintain excellent visual merchandising standards in accordance with assigned guidelines.• Proactively analyze inventory and stock needs to ensure proper product assortment.• Collaborate cross-functionally with key departments to ensure the efficient use and maintenance of store spaces at levels of excellence.• Actively promote the use of different purchasing channels (digital catalog, e-commerce).• Ensure the analysis and control of products in the warehouse, as well as reporting.• Ensure compliance with administrative and accounting processes.• In agreement with the Store Manager, ensure the excellence of in-store activities with a constant customer focus.• Promote an inclusive and engaging work environment with inspiration.• Keep a curious and open eye for constantly discovering new potential external talent to bring into the team.
Requirements
• Previous experience in a similar role in structured retail companies that operate through a high level of customer service and consultancy.• Excellent communication skills.• Planning and organizational skills.• Results-oriented with excellent analytical skills.• In-depth knowledge of customer experience applied to the retail industry.• Solid experience in working with and achieving KPIs and sales objectives.• Ability to prioritize, work dynamically and flexibly, and communicate effectively.• Ability to manage complexity and operate in a multitasking environment.• Excellent use of feedback for growth and improvement of team resources' skills.• Proactivity, problem-solving, ability to work in a proactive and positive team, great attention to detail.• Initiative, dynamism, and enthusiasm.• Excellent knowledge of both spoken and written English.• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
