Position
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible to contribute to the accomplishment of quantitative and qualitative goals set for the store while ensuring the best in class customer experience for Loro Piana Customers.
He/She is responsible for all day-by-day operational issues and is the first point of contact for Store Manager for all the store operations and the team management.
Sales and Business development
? Supports the Store Manager in delivering outstanding results
? Supports the Store Manager in the optimization of the global sales performance, increasing the customer service standards and working for the continuous development of the team product knowledge and selling skills
? Supports the Store Manager to give all the necessary information to Retail /Area Manager
Client management and CRM
? Guarantees and actively participates in managing customer relationship, ensuring an high level of satisfaction, coordinating the store team and implementing guidelines set by the Store Manager
? Alongside the Store Manager, provides a best in class customer experience required for the brand, holding the team accountable and liaising with the Retail /Area Manager
? Together with the Store Manager, coordinates and supports the clienteling activities
? When necessary, directly manages the relations with Top/VIC customers
People Management & Talent Development
? Supports the Store Manager to instill cohesion amongst the team, ensuring they are carrying out their responsibility to the best of their abilities
? Supports the Store Manager in the definition of quantitative and qualitative goals and their monitoring
? Supports the Store Manager in identifying and implementing the most appropriate learning and development activities for the sales team
? Ensures the observance of all the internal procedures
Operations and procedures
? Has a complete knowledge of all stores procedures and oversees their proper execution
? Guarantees the implementation of the security procedures (i.e. opening and closure security procedures, health & safety measures and systems, etc.)
? Carries out training activities to ensure effective and full control of the selling areas and prevents thefts
? Oversees administrative tasks (e.g.: opening and closures, cash, receipts and invoices, end of days closing, sales anomalies and discrepancies, travel expenses, etc…)
? Manages store suppliers (i.e.: invoices and expenses management etc.)
? Ensures appropriate implementation of LP store operating model and daily execution
? Ensures the store has the adequate store supply management and maintenance
Profile
* Previous experience as team manager / supervisor / assistant SM in a luxury Store
* solid knowledge of the luxury retail dynamics
* Passion for people management
* Influencing skills
* Customer focus
* Alignment with Loro Piana brand and image
* Microsoft Office, SAP Retail, reporting tools
* Fluent English
