The key accountabilities of this role are to: 

To ensure effective implementation of AXA’s Operational Risk and Internal Control Framework;, the key risks and controls within the operations are appropriately identified and managed.

  • Assist in the annual review of internal control over financial reporting (IFRS and Solvency II) certification to the Group

  • Engage with both operational and financial department representatives to understand the potential risks and identify the key controls in the business processes

  • Assess and conclude the design and the operating effectiveness of the controls on mitigating the underlying risks

     

  • Partner with the risk owners to foster the Operational Risk identification, response, monitoring and reporting

  • Participate in Operational Risk incident reporting, including the root cause analysis, recommendations to address the control weakness and evaluate the effectiveness of the corrective and preventive actions applied

  • Assist in providing a holistic and synthetic view of risk universe and control environment for presentation to the Board of Directors/senior management

  • Assist in any ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned


Your Profile

Qualifications:

  • University graduate, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or a related discipline

  • 4 years of working experience in Big 4 or internal audit or risk and control functions of insurance companies

  • Details oriented, positive attitude and self-motivated

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese

  • CPA / CIA / CISA/ FRM or relevant qualifications will be beneficial

  • Experience in data analytics is an advantage
