About the position
The Performance, Innovation, and Strategic Analysis for Impact Unit is currently seeking a professional in the field of Data Engineering and Web Development. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring consistency and integrity of data services through the review of transactions. Also, the selected candidate will provide support for existing research data tools.
The position will be based in the operations center of the Americas, located in the Campus of Palmira, Colombia. And will offer hybrid working conditions.
Responsibilities
Support existing research tools (data and web development).
Identify opportunities to advise issues or new requirements that affect the execution and integrity of data tools.
Review and validate quality issues to anticipate the execution and integrity of data tools.
Collaborate closely with the team to deliver high-data product services.
Provide support to training users on research applications.
Support the development and maintenance of data products to facilitate and enhance research processes.

Requirements

Qualifications and requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, data engineering, systems engineering, software engineering, or related fields.
Minimum 6 months of experience performing similar positions.
Knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JSON, AJAX, and various JavaScript frameworks/widgets, React.js, and REST APIs).
Experience working with Java and PHP (Laravel).
Basic knowledge of SQL (Oracle and MySQL as database backend).
Experience using version control Git.
Intermediate English level (oral and written).

Proper work planning.

Benefits Terms of employment 
This is a national recruited position placed at a BG06, on a scale of 14 levels, with level 14 being the highest.
This is a Colombian national search and will be managed through a fixed-term contract of a one (1) year period, subject to a probation period according to the local legislation and is renewable depending on performance and availability of resources.
