Role Purpose

Are you looking for an opportunity to drive transformation in a dynamic environment? JLL is seeking a Market Analyst to reinforce our Capital Markets market intelligence and client advisory Team in Rome.

He/she will be based in Rome, will report to the Head of Capital Markets Rome and will work with all JLL’s Italian business units with the aim to create a clear competitive advantage for our clients through the strategic use of accurate data, market research and innovative thinking.

Responsibilities of a Market Analyst

• Understand how industry and economic factors influence investors and occupiers’ strategies and actions and leverage this knowledge to create and to develop research products and tools;
• Support the team in financial analysis of investment opportunuties through cash flow modelling and other valuation methods
• Use of advanced data visualization tools, including JLL’s new and proprietary technology;
• Contribute to the preparation of market studies and research documents
• Contribute to client presentations by covering market intelligence, trends, and statistics;
• Support the Capital Markets Team in the analysis and execution of buy and sell side transactions
• Exhibiting a complete understanding of company's corporate governance policies and procedures.

Skills and attributes of a Consultant Research

• An analytical mindset and ability to visualize data with strong technical skills as relates to databases, data gathering and large data sets analysis to identify trends and quality control checks;
• Digital & Innovative mindset driven;
• Flexibility to handle multiple tasks and the ability to effectively manage time and workload;
• Good communications and interpersonal skills and a desire to work within a diverse, collaborative, and driven professional environment;
• Demonstrated passion in real estate with a strong commitment to learning micro- and macro-level market dynamics;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and PowerBI;
• GIS/data viz experience preferred;
• Strong quantitative skillset with ability to identify new insights and trends through data analytics;
• Collaborative attitude and willingness to both work independently and as part of a dynamic team;
• Organized and proactive approach;
• Effective written and oral communication skills.

Experience and qualifications

• University degree in Architecture, Urban planning, Economics, Statistics or related fields.
• Experience 3+ years in commercial real estate research or research related fields in an advisory/consultancy environment.
• Proficient in Italian and English, both written and oral.
