Aerospace Laser/Optical Engineer - Rome

TMC Italia is looking for a Laser / Optical Engineer based in Rome (Italy) to provide support on lasers and optical communications for space applications.

| Your challenges?

The activity will be carried on in an international context.

Responsibilities will include:

• Validate and verify optical communications system and subsystems through supporting system test validation
• Execute Optical Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) procedures, following the AIT Plan
• Define specifications and conduct ground tests
• Analyze data products from optical/laser instruments, detecting events and anomalies
• Process test data and assess optical performance
• Develop and implement a development plan, including monitoring workshops and suppliers, as well as preparing purchase orders
• Generate technical reports and documentation

| What do we expect from you?

• MSc degree in Electronic or Telecommunication Engineering with focus in optoelectronics and lasers
• Competence in optical simulation and lasers
• Knowledge of Integrated Optical
• Fluent in Italian and English (spoken and written)
