The activity will be carried on in an international context.
Responsibilities will include:
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to collect requirements and convert them into scalable backend solutions.
- Develop, design, and maintain high-quality backend services utilizing Python and Kotlin.
- Create RESTful APIs and integrate them seamlessly with frontend components.
- Improve and optimize existing backend features for optimal performance and scalability.
- Work closely with DevOps engineers to streamline deployment and maintenance processes.
- Write unit tests and actively participate in code reviews to uphold code quality and maintainability.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to continually enhance backend systems.
| What do we expect from you?
- Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in Italian and English (spoken and written).
- Proficient in Python and/or Kotlin/Java programming languages.
- Experience in constructing RESTful APIs and integrating them with frontend applications.
- Knowledge of database systems (Cassandra, Postgres) and expertise in query optimization.
- Familiarity with Redis.
- Expertise in messaging systems like Kafka for building event-driven architectures.
- Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Nice to have experience with frameworks like FastApi (Python) and Ktor (Kotlin) for web development.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP and their associated services.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
