We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Accounting and Retail Expansion Manager. This position is a unique hybrid role that combines responsibilities in finance and retail expansion. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing both the accounting department operations and retail expansion initiatives.
 
RESPONSABILITIES
 
Financial Management (80%)
 
A leadership role focusing on the Italian market, Accounting Managers oversee the operations of the accounting department, manage accounting staff, and ensure that all financial processes are efficient and effective. They play a key role in financial decision-making and internal controls.
a) Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department
month and end-year process
general ledger
budgeting
cash forecasting
VAT & Intrastat Submission
b) Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
c) Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
Contracts and Legal accountability for Retail Expansion (20%)
 
Manage franchising partners and local agents in relation to administrative tasks such as contractual amendments, payments., P&O calculation etc.
Prepare capex for retail stores
Reviewing all processes interconnected with retail, construction and legal
Overseeing all the commercial part of the Retail Expansion Dpt
Review and negotiate lease agreements to establish compliance with internal policies.
Legal management with external lawyers
Partnering with our Expansion Senior Manager Partner

Profilo

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • CAPEX managing experience
  • Legal contractual proficiency
  • Previous experience in accounting management, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, budgeting, and internal controls.
  • Experience with retail expansion strategies and franchise management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
