Position SummaryWe are lookinf for a Finance and Payroll Senior Specialist’s to join our Dental Team based in Fidenza (Parma). The main responsibilities are: preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations, performing other accounting duties as assigned and manage all payroll activities.
Duties- Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger, account reconciliations, key financial schedules and other financial reporting in accordance with OIC/US GAAP standards
- Complete assigned document requests for internal/external auditors timely and accurately
- Assist with preparing supporting documentation for quarterly and year-end closing
- Assist in the tax planning and compliance for all national, local, payroll, VAT and other taxes.
- Assist the statutory financial statement preparation
- Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
- Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
- Calculate the correct amount incorporating overtime, deductions, bonuses etc. with assistance of a computer system, process taxes and payment of employee benefits
- Keep track of hour rates, wages, compensation benefit rates, new hire information etc,, prepare reports for upper management, HR department etc.
- Strong financial analysis skills
- 3/4 years of experience in the role
- Experience as payroll specialist
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and stress management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
- Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP
- Fluent English Language (minimun B2)
