Forma di lavoroThe Research Centre of the Veneto Eye Bank Foundation (FBOV, www.fbov.org and http://research.fbov.org/, one of the leading eye banks in Europe), employees scientists involved in pre-clinical and clinical studies on eye disorders and regenerative medicine.
FBOV is seeking a highly motivated Research Scientist who will contribute to the development of a project aimed at regenerating the Retinal Pigment Epithelium in patients with Age-related Macular Degeneration.
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
- a Master’s Degree in Biology/Biotechnology/Medical Sciences;
- fluency in English;
- technical proficiency in one or more of the following areas: cell culture and phenotyping, pluripotent stem cell differentiation, immunohistochemistry, molecular biology;
- a previous experience with cells of retinal origin would be an advantage;
The position is available immediately for two years. Salary will be commensurate with skills and experience.
