KRDB Technologies - foundations and applications

Foundational and applied research activity within the group working on Knowledge Representation and Databases (KRDB) technologies for intelligent information design, integration, access, and navigation with ontologies and databases, and related also to other research projects on similar topics to be defined in due course with mutual agreement. Fundamental and applied research activities in the area of Knowledge Representation Technologies and Databases will be carried out in the following fields: - Conceptual and Cognitive Modelling; - modelling of complex, structured and semi-structured data; - modelling of dynamic aspects of data; - analysis of the ontological, logical and cognitive adequacy of models.
