GASTROENTEROLOGY

Teaching activity related to S.S.D. MED/12 in bachelor's, master's, medical schools’ and specialist degrees of G. d’Annunzio University. The professor will conduct translational research activities related to the relevant discipline sector, with particular regard to the study of immunopathological mechanisms underlying intestinal damage in major chronic pathologies with high epidemiological impact and advanced therapies. The professor must also promote clinical research activity by developing and/or participating in phase I, II, and III clinical trials, with a particular interest in the field of intestinal diseases. A track record of participation and coordination in national and/or international scientific committees is required. Any clinical-assistance activity may be carried out following an agreement with ASL Lanciano-Vasto-Chieti and other institutes affiliated with the Italian National Health Service, if there is availability in terms of lack of places in agreement.
