Job description
You will be a key contributor to SiC Technology volume ramp-up in ST. The work location will be in the new mass-production fab in Catania for the manufacturing of SiC substrate wafers, this facility will be a first of a kind in Europe for the production in volume of SiC epitaxial substrates, integrating all steps in the production flow.
Strong link is maintained with (COMPANY NAME) Silicon Carbide AB, located in Norrk?ping, Sweden, with opportunities for on-site training and collaboration. (COMPANY NAME) Silicon Carbide AB, previously named Norstel AB, is the ST competence center in SiC material technology: the company has been developing silicon carbide for 20 years, first at Link?ping University, and since 2006 in a dedicated production facility in Norrk?ping.
Your main task will be to ensure a smooth transition between the R&D activities and the mass-production fab, in particular your key responsibilities will be:
* Prepare and schedule production plans, in line with customer's demand and capacity
* Monitor the adherence to production plan
* Be the interface between Operations and Divisions for the demand management and active contributor in the supply chain management and programs
* Ensure and support Data quality to be compliant with FEM Front-End rules and SOX requirements
* Maintain the Fab capacity model to be used for Production Control and Industrial Eng purposes (layout, capacity figures, material routing, etc.)
* Monitor Fab performance by KPI management and develop the most efficient strategies to maximize the productivity of people, machines, materials (OEE, Cycle Time Improvement, WIP & material management, WIP auto-dispatching process…)
* Work closely with manufacturing production, engineering and quality to achieve output delivery performance and manufacturing efficiency
* Deploy Lean practices and behaviors
Profile
Knowledge, Skills and capabilities:
* 2-5 years experience in planning, industrial engineering and production ramp up
* Master's degree in Engineering
* Ability to work by goals and excellent time management skills
* Ability to communicate appropriately with all levels within the organization from analyst to senior leaders as well as the ability to collaborate and build positive relationships
* Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
* Open mindedness and ability to drive change
* Knowledge of IE or Planning tools is a plus
* Good knowledge of Microsoft office suite/ Be very proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
* Knowledge of Lean/Agile methods and techniques is a plus
* Skills on Programming languages/AutoCAD/Big Data or Data Warehousing tools is a plus.
