THE ACTIVITIES
Inside the very demanding automotive market (Battery Management System, braking, ESP, infotainment, air bags, engine control), the evolution of technologies in new generation of Signal and Smartpower devices challenges the Failure Analysis process.
In this scenario, new position of FA eng is open, in order to face the very demanding customer requirements in term of Total Cycle Time, maintaining the usual high level performance in term of success rate.
The FA activity consist in the detection and analysis of electrical failure of chip to identify the cause of the failure (e.g. physical defect).
In this position the candidate will be in charge of electrical fault isolation analog
circuitry and output power DMOS by means of:
- Collection of all the necessary data for the failure mode comprehension and
reproduction.
- Reproduction of failure mode by using bench lab instruments (curve tracer, power supply generators, oscilloscopes, multimeters, pattern/waveform generators, etc.) and application board with dedicated sw GUI.
- Physical fault isolation analysis (based on laser stimulation, photon emission, thermal emission, etc.) and result evaluation through CAD navigation tools.
- Physical Analysis guidance.y
Goals are managed through solid technical base with daily relationship with many different internal technical expertise (Product eng., Designers, Application eng., FAB quality, etc.) and Suppliers.
The job includes data analysis and experimental activity in the PQR laboratory in Agrate.
The Analogic FA activity will be part of overall management of External Customer Complaints (ECC) and internal analysis to support product development and production issues solution.
The Analogic FA activity will be part of Team work with Analog FA and Product
Assurance belonging to the same quality team.
