RINA is currently recruiting for a PMC Construction Project Manager to join its office in Genoa, Italy within the Italy Infrastructure & Mobility Division.

Mission

The role is focused on ensuring that the project and construction activities are adhere to specifications, quality standards, and timelines. The main focus is on coordinating with various stakeholders, managing resources, and implementing best practices to deliver successful  complex projects.

Key Accountabilities

1. Project Management, Planning and Coordination:
 - Develop and execute project plans, considering scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
 - Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and understood.
 - Support the Projects/Client by applying the Best Practices related to project management according to National and International rules.
 - Cooordination of the PMC Team Project.
2. Resource Management:
 - Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including labor, equipment, and materials.
 - Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of construction materials and services.
3. Budget Oversight:
 - Monitor project budgets, ensuring financial efficiency and adherence to cost estimates.
 - Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations for budget optimization.
4. Safety Compliance:
 - Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all personnel on the construction site.
 - Conduct safety audits and address any non-compliance issues promptly.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
 - Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and as-built drawings.
 - Provide regular updates to stakeholders, communicating project status, challenges, and resolutions.
6. Problem Resolution:
 - Identify and address construction-related challenges promptly, working collaboratively with the project team to find effective solutions.
 - Mitigate risks and escalate issues to higher management when necessary.
7. Client Liaison:
 - Foster positive relationships with clients by providing excellent communication and addressing client concerns in a timely and professional manner.
 - Ensure client satisfaction by meeting or exceeding project expectations. #LI-AC2

Education

Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Management Engineering

Qualifications

- 5-7 years of experience in project management within the infrastructure sector.

- Proven track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects.

- Knowledge of National and International rules related to project management.

- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).

- Additional certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are advantageous
