About the Role
We are currently looking for a Jr Corporate Lawyer to join our HQ Team at (COMPANY NAME) Village (Cesena). He/She will be in charge of drafting simple legal documents, negotiating, structuring, interpreting, executing, and/or administering contractual documents.
He/She will operate in a high-profile environment and join an international and dynamic team, used to working under pressure and collaborating to reach key deadlines and goals. This role requires an individual with personal confidence, legal acumen and business savvy to operate in a highly regulated industry as he/she also provides significant input in the development and implementation of legal compliance policies and procedures.
This posting is for a temporary maternity leave replacement.
Responsibilities
* Draft, review, negotiate simple contractual documents (like NDA or MOU), mainly related to projects performed by the Company in the different geographies, in both Italian and English;
* Attending meeting with clients, suppliers and/or project team;
* Fulfill any corporate obligations, including dealing with public notaries or local authorities and obtaining certificates or other corporate documents;
* Draft letters related to contractual obligations and/or pre-litigations and/or claims;
* Advice on claims and ensure a proper connection with external lawyers in charge of litigations, ensuring that externally commissioned lawyers are provided with all necessary information to enable them to provide advice that is accurate, targeted and which represents the best value for money;
* Cooperate in developing procedures, matrices and policies to be adopted at (COMPANY NAME) Group level;
* Work on developing (COMPANY NAME) templates and standards and maintain a deep understanding of the (COMPANY NAME) Group policies and procedures;
* Assist business teams on specific legal issues (like IP, competition or IT laws);
* Provide high quality, targeted and accessible legal advice across a range of practice areas and will work as a valued business partner with colleagues across (COMPANY NAME) Group in order to secure and deliver effective solutions to legal issues;
* Driving continuous improvement within his/her own areas of responsibility; and
* Taking a proactive approach to risk management, ensuring legal risks and issues are identified, addressed and reported and, where appropriate, escalated.
About You
* Master's Degree in Law
* Previous experience in law firms or as in-house counsel
* English fluency (minimum level: C1 CEFR)
* Pragmatic in problem solving
* Good relational skills towards internal and external stakeholders
* Self-motivated, independent professional with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive under pressure
* Proactive self-starter, highly motivated, focused on working at a high level and producing an excellent work product under changing priorities and deadlines
* Process oriented with strong organization skills to manage multiple projects in parallel and prioritize competing demands
* Ability to work in an international and challenging environment
