Group Controller Specialist
Our client is a historic and prestigious multinational company with an industrial mold with customers of primary importance. Due to their structure, we were asked to search a Group Controller Specialist.
The resource will report directly to the Function Manager, will have the following responsibilities:
You will be part of the global team becoming a reference for Investment team and Controlling organization.
The main objective of this advanced controller position is to provide support for improving the investment process and data availability, increasing the standardization, provide support for Group investment approval, provide support on forecasting, and follow up of Group investment performances and become the key user of the future SAP4Hana ERP for the capex management.
You are eager to learn more, have excellent team working skills and have ability to work under tight schedule.
The position is permanent and with the possibility to work part-time remotely and availability to travel upon request.
Key responsibilities:
- To ensure the availability of all the data related to Group investments improving the existing process, i.e the way of collecting and consolidating data, the development and testing of new reports / tools, the standardization of the capex processes used in accounting and controlling team in the entire group.
- To monitor actual vs forecasted investments providing analysis on most significant gaps with strong connection to project owners.
- To become the reference on capex reporting in HFM for controlling organization
- To provide support for challenging Divisions on overrun and financial performances failures
- To provide support for Group new investment approvals
- To provide ad hoc qualitative and timely analysis on capex required by Group management.
Requirements:
- 5 years or more relevant experience
- Previous experience of analytical work in manufacturing field
- Industrial or investment controlling background will be a must.
- Master’s degree
- Excellent analytic skills
- Able to manage the details while being able to see the big picture.
- High level of initiative and independence in managing responsibilities
- Understand drivers of financial performances of investments
- Great networking and collaboration skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English
