THIS IS THE JOB
As an Application Support consultant, you have technical skills (IT Development) and a good knowledge of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management).
- You will be responsible for incident/problem management, application administration and operation, and application monitoring, which involve resolving the incidents and problems that affect the availability, performance, and functionality of the applications
- You will be responsible to perform the administrative and operational tasks related to the applications, such as backup, restore, configuration, patching, and upgrading.
- You will also perform application update, which involves installing the CPS released by the vendor, both for Windchill and Thingworx, and updating all the third components to the latest version, such as Apache, Tomcat, Arbortext, Office, and Adobe, for critical vulnerabilities.
- You will work with the PTC Windchill, PLM, and Thingworx systems, as well as the CAD Workers, Office Worker, and Replica Servers, to provide Application Support and maintenance according to the ITIL best practices and the customer's SLA.
HELP DESK Level 2:
As a Level 2 Application Support Engineer, you'll be involved in incident and problem management, diving into the root causes of issues and implementing solutions.
- You will administer the PTC Windchill application, ensuring its optimal performance and addressing operational challenges.
- You'll collaborate with senior experts to handle higher difficulty issues, providing support and coordination on behalf of the customer.
- Your expertise will contribute to the resolution of complex problems, enhancing the overall stability of the system.
- This role requires a higher level of technical competency and the ability to work closely with senior experts in Incident/Problem Management and Application Administration.
MAJOR CHANGE REQUEST
In this mission, your responsibilities escalate to handling major changes within the PTC Windchill system.
- You'll be involved in planning, executing, and overseeing significant updates, configurations, and enhancements. - Your role will require collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring that major changes are implemented smoothly, meeting business requirements and aligning with ITIL best practices.
- This position demands a higher level of technical competency and strategic thinking in managing impactful changes to the application.

Requisiti del candidato:
YOUR PROFILE
You are an IT developer specialised in PLM (Product Lifecycle Management).
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Windchill PLM Developer
- You have advanced knowledge of the PTC Windchill and Thingworx technologies, as well as the ITIL framework and the Application Support processes.
- Good Working knowledge of Windchill Architecture
- Knowledge of Windchill configuration and customization
- Demonstrated experience in at least 2 projects involving Windchill 11.1 or later
- Deployment / Implementation diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Good knowledge on Change Management, EBOM-MBOM and ERP connectors
- Knowledge on basic troubleshoot, validation and documentation
- Hands-on experience with Java, JSP, JavaScript, J2EE, XML, XSD, XSLT
- Contribute and execute the implementation plan
- Knowledge of agile methodology
- You have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, as well as the ability to work independently and coordinate with higher seniority experts when needed.
- Very good English proficiency (at least B2-C1 Level)
- Italian language knowledge will be a plus
- Good understanding of ME & Quality processes
- Very good communication,
- Presentation and negotiation skills
